Amy founded Happy Crew in 2007 alongside a group of students who shared her vision of creating spaces where every teenager knows they matter and belong. With over 30 years of experience in youth development and organizational transformation, Amy has dedicated her career to understanding what young people truly need to thrive.
What started as weekly Monday night gatherings has grown into a movement that has touched the lives of over 2,500 local teens, providing tools for emotional resilience and creating supportive community connections. Amy's approach goes beyond traditional youth programming—she helps teens, families, and organizations understand how authentic relationships and inclusive environments can transform mental health outcomes.
Amy's expertise extends into the corporate world, where she helps businesses understand Gen Z perspectives and develop workplace cultures that support mental health and authentic connection. Through her workshops and leadership development programs, she bridges the gap between youth needs and adult understanding, creating stronger communities across generations.
"I believe teenagers are the coolest people on the planet," Amy says, "and it's my privilege to learn from them every day. They've taught me that belonging isn't something you give someone—it's something you create together."
