Nick Sawyer

Nick joined the Board for the Happy Crew in October of 2025. Nick is a CPA who obtained his Masters and Undergrad from the University of Arizona graduating in 2019 with his master’s in science of accounting. Nick participated in Amy’s events from a young age, starting at 13 years old. He always felt that the community Amy was able to create was amazing and knew that she was capable of impacting thousands of kids’ lives in a positive way. He went on to have his own struggles with mental health, but Amy was always a positive presence who helped him manage the struggles and come out as the person he is today. When Amy started the Coffee house in January of 2025, Nick was immediately intrigued at the opportunity to work with Amy again and help her with her growing community. He thought that he could provide a unique perspective and set of skills for the Board and is always eager to take on new challenges for the team. Nicks favorite part of being a board member is feeling pride in the impact he is making in the Douglas County area and helping Amy spread her positive impact to the state of Colorado. Outside of his work with the Happy Crew, Nick is a big nuggets fan and a big fitness fan. Nick fully believes the 2nd best community in Denver is Ball Arena and the friends he has made their over his 4 years as a season ticket holder, trailing just behind the community at The Happy Crew. He also believes that physical fitness is a key component to a healthy mind and life. No matter how the day goes, you can always feel satisfaction in putting work in exercising to better yourself.
